Anthony King: 2008

DVD/DVR #14 - I don’t know how I never saw this movie before now, but the privileged UES lifestyle featured in movies like this is so foreign to me (and so exotic) that I always find myself watching it with the same intrigue and fascination that I hold for well-made nature documentaries. I’m equally attracted to and repulsed by the constant self-analysis, intellectual sparring, and narcissistic nihilism, while acutely aware that I’d have as much chance surviving in that world as I would on the African Savannah.
