PLAY #5 - I forgot to list this when I saw it a few weeks ago, but I was really blown away by this production. Sondheim captures the struggles of art and being an artist so vividly - especially creation and perseverance.

Creation:

Finishing the hat,
How you have to finish the hat.
How you watch the rest of the world
From a window
While you finish the hat.

Perseverance:

Stop worrying if your vision is new.
Let others make that decision …
they usually do.
You keep moving on.

Anything you do, let it come from you—
then it will be new.
